The eyelet holes will open up and the slant should correct. Don&#39;t try to adjust tension on the sts. That&#39;s always difficult to maintain and will just result in uneveness. The pattern is a simple 2 row repeat:</p> <p>1st row is (yo, k2tog)</p> <p>2nd row is purl</p> <p>I&#39;ve done about 4 inches and the pattern appears to be slanting to the right. &nbsp;Also what should look like little square boxes seem to look more like diamonds.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Is this something that will come out in blocking or should I perhaps be using more tension at a specific stitch or what???? &nbsp;Thanks, Bobbi</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
