I see what you mean. The stitches before the asterisk give you an increase of 2 and each repeat(looks like 7 repeats) increases 2 so I get an increase of 16 sts across the row. What happens in the next row? Does it require 70sts to complete? I'm wonndering if it's a mistake in the pattern or just a mistake in the number of sts, 70sts.

Re: Help please with a pattern

Hi

The designer has got back to me, she has not got time at the moment to correct the pattern for me, hopefully she will find time soon.

I really love the pattern and so much want to do it.

Thanks for your response

It looks to me the instructions are some kind of bobble instructions. Have you tried looking at you tube videos?

I am not yet there with bobbles yet. It looks very labor intensive compared to crochet bobble.

Oh can someone please help, I have spent most of the night trying to work out a pattern, i have ripped it out so many times and started again, and can not see where i am going wrong.

46 Sts

The pattern says, for every row, fist and last stitch must be knit 1,

I got to row 12 and it says

in same stitch (k1tbl, yo, k1tbl), *k1, (k2tog without dropping stitches

from left needle, yo, knit same 2 stitches together and drop from left needle)*

repeat from * to * until end of row. There are now 70 stitches on the needle.

I tried it with k1 at beginning and end, and i had 61sts on needle, I then tried without the k1 at beginning and end, which left 63 sts on needle.

Please can someone help

Many Thanks

Junie
