Oh! I've just read your reply from above. Well, I've spent such a lot of time looking for the video for you that it would be a waste if I don't post it. It will help you a lot. Not only for cables but any stitch pattern you want to shape diagonal.

Hi Junie,

I am sorry I couldn't help you earlier. I had a little issue that prevented me to be in the web. It is 12:38 a.m. where I live. I didn't want you to leave you unattended. There is a video where Eunny teaches how to handle the travelling stitches, the diagonals, as you call them. But it will be until tomorrow afternoon. It is very late for me. I'll have to get up in four hours. But it is a promise I'll look for it tomorrow and post it here for you.

I have been looking at different ways to knit the diagonal stitch, The walker treasury has this one.
