e-book of patterns from Series 600

I just received the set of DVD's of the Knitting Daily TV Series 100-900. I was able to download patterns from each Series except Series 600 in the e-book format. Is this Series going to have the patterns put in the e-book format?

I am looking forward to watching these DVD's while the snow flies outside this winter.

How to find pattern on todays show?

I can not find a pattern on the website that was on the show today. Its was by Kristen. I think she called it the captain? It was during the crochet part. Where could i find it?

Hi there, I can'thelp but be a little bit jealous of the different shows that you have in the USA. We don't have any here in the UK. You can subscribe to a few through the internet, but my connection here is far from ideal.......

Are there any plans to offer these to the UK? Future DVDs (compatible with our systems over here)?

I admit it, I can only knit on the loom or the board. I tried to learn knitting on the needles for over a year and couldn't get the hang of it no matter what I did! Well, I was wondering if KDTV has ever done (or will ever do) an episode on the loom/board? I think that would be neat! I made my 2-yr old daughter a cabled sweater on the largest plastic round loom and it turned out so cute! I've done hats coming out my ears and even designed a few of my own. I'd love to see lots of knitting stiches that the talented people using the needles do, but done on the loom and how to adapt knitting needle patterns for the loom. Just one episode, please. Perhaps Crochet Corner could be dedicated to unconventional crochet methods in keeping with the theme. Just a thought for you...

Love the show although it's so packed and goes so fast! I need an hour of it so that I can get more detailed instructions and see the stitches done more slowly and on larger needles, if possible. Love having more than one segment so that I can usually find some project I'd like to do out of the four segments shown. My question is: Is there something wrong with the Little Sock Lamb pattern download? I tried to download it to knit along with the show (episode 504 aired Friday in my area) and I keep getting a "file is damaged" error and can't download it. Any help?

Can any one help me.... I have brought all the knitting daily tv videos.... This last set I have a problem with the 3rd disk.... and just number 507 heritage.... the rest are all fine. Any Ideas how to get a replacement.....

Teaching knitting / crochet in school

Sometime in the recent past, I saw a spot about an organization that helps promote knitting education in school. Our school needs to have a program like this, but, as always, has no funds to create a program. Can anyone help 'remember' who this group is?

I'm so happy to have the shows in my area! I've read a few comments - both positive and negative - and would like to offer mine.

I have learned alot, but agree that it would be better to focus on maybe two topics per episode and delve into them in more detail. There is alot of ads, but I guess that's necessary to have the program at all.

My biggest complaint is the music! It's so annoying and loud, it detracts from anything going on whether it be advertising, overview, etc. I DVR the shows and FF through the beginning just to try to avoid it. Come on Interweave, you can do better!

Adina Klein's Vest (episode 507)

Great show today but I had trouble concentrating on the vests Adina was displaying since since all my attention was the vest/tee she was wearing!! Any idea what pattern it is? That top is s-o-o-o me and I'd love to make one.

Got DVDs, viewed them all within two days. Mhmh, mhmhh, where to start. Concept is very likeable, topics interesting, but ...

Music is awful and annoying, repeats of sponsors as well. Production-wise things could be made tighter and livelier (that's my professional opinion being a tv-radio producer).

Maybe some changes in cast would also be welcome: e.g. not everyone has to do everything (maybe Kim should stick to crochet?), Shay should retire gracefully. Eunny excellent in front of camera! (use her more since the other three are akward and often looking in wrong direction, searching for words and abruptly cutting their guests when time is up).

Why is there no time/room for a person who actually does KnittingDaily? Meaning, Sandi.

Finally, change those guests; no need for the same two women to push their merchandise through all 12 episodes.

I am curious to see if there is a list of markets that have picked up the new show.... I have looked in vain at both my local PBS channels, and can't find any info on it. Oddly enough since Interweave is kind of local to Denver, it is kind of surprising I can't find it on any of our local affiliates.....

Short videos on the Website

It would be really nice for hard of hearing ppl & ppl who would rather read the info, instead of watch it, to have the short videos or interviews transcribed. I was really looking forward to watching the Marianne Isager clip, only to struggle with the vocals. I know not everyone needs this and it may take a a bit more time, but it would be so much better for ppl like me! Thanks for reading!

camera angle

I'm suprised no one else has mentioned camera angle. I wish they also had a camera over the people's shoulder that they could cut to when demonstrating a technique or what have you. I find myself trying to stand on my head while watching so that I can see things as if they were if front of me instead of upside down.

I watched the Knitting Daily show this morning and saw the twins make the cutest t-shirts. I basically know how to do them but would like a refresher. The shirts were purchased then a filet crochet sleeve added to them - so cute for those 4 granddaughters for Christmas!

Knitting Daily TV's first airing is on July 20th! The show airs on public television, so you'll have to check your local listings to see if Eunny, Kim, Liz, and Shay will appear in your living room. Or, pre-order the series 100 DVD online at http://www.interweave.com/knit/dvds/Knitting-Daily-TV-100/. The DVDs will be available on July 21st. The show's website will be up and running soon, so please visit www.knittingdailytv.com beginning July 1, for more information. In the meantime, i'll do my best to respond to questions on this thread. Annie
