&lt;p&gt;Check the above sight out and scroll down until you get the Off-the-Shoulder Evening Jumper.&amp;nbsp; The pattern calls it a jumper, but to me it is like a modern style outfit.&amp;nbsp; Off the shoulders is very desirable for young ladies now and if you knit or crocheted a very lacy light shawl to go with it, this pattern might do nicely.&amp;nbsp; Off course I would think that you would want to knit it up in a color becoming of the event.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;I am looking for a free , formal ,prom ,wedding , dress pattern for my daughter , she is 17 ,&amp;amp; no she is not getting married , she is a senior in high school , and will probably be valedictorian , &amp;amp; soon be off to college , I just want any special occasion dress that I can alter to a prom dress !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;I have searched high and low on the internet , &amp;amp; have come up with not much , with the economy the way it is free is all I can afford . I ask for crochet because I am better at that than knitting , but , knit will do just as well !&lt;/p&gt;
