They have a sole then some open lace design for the top part of the slipper or slip ons. Very delicate looking and pretty especially in a sparkle wool. Not much to them! I think they were crochet but not sure. Nice to wear with something special or dressed up and visiting etc.or have company.Any help would be appreciated!

This is a fabulous book! I couldn't put it down yesterday afternoon; been though the photos 3 times, started reading last night and was up till midnight. This morning I can't stop picking it up and leafing through again. Having difficulty deciding which to make first, most likely it will be Raeanne as I think that's the most spectacular design in the book. I'll probably even buy the suggested yarn. I've always appreciated symbols over written instructions, much easier to follow and if you make a working photocopy you can yellow-out every round or row completed and more easily keep your place.

Other kudos: the book is the perfect size physically and printed on great paper and I really appreciate those cover flaps so I don't have to dog-ear my pages.

Anybody else get their copy yet?
