Hi pelczadl,

I understand what you are saying. I am dyslexic with numbers and with the knitting charts that are so common today. I have to write out the charts in words so I can understand and follow them. Most often I need to also write out the numbers so I can "see" the number. I have linked you to a crochet symbol chart. These are common to crochet. I hope it is what you are looking for. I will see if I can post a number of different links to crochet symbols.

http://www.craftyarncouncil.com/chart_crochet.html

http://crochetology.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/T209C-IntlCrochetSymbols.pdf This one has a huge amount of different symbols and instructions on how to interpret crochet pattern charts.

http://www.grannys-garret.com/symbol_crochet/symbol_crochet.html

http://www.jessica-tromp.nl/freecrochetflowerpatternsdoilygrannysquaretrianglepatterns.htm Bookmark this site in your favorites tab. This one is very valuable. The person explains the crochet projects. She explains her symbols that she uses. She then has photos of the patterns. Then she lists the patterns. If you click on the pattern, it takes you to the symbol chart for that crocheted flower pattern. Near the end of her page, she lists various granny squares and links to their charts.

I do knitting and crochet, Zoe

Crochet pattern for dyslexia

Hi, my name is Denise and I am looking for the crochet pattern with all the symbols for crochet stitches. It was on the show that aired 12/28/2010. The lady that designed the pattern has dyslexia and has trouble reading a regular crochet pattern and I do too. It was all symbols to make a beautiful granny like square. Where can i find it? Thanks for any help!
