As I was hemming, I realized that the stockinette sections are curling up quite a bit -- whereas the ribbed sections are not. I should have thought of this before embarking on this project....I'm not sure what to do to fix it so the sweater still looks good. Any thoughts on how to fix?

When it says to to "work the left side of hood first" does that mean left side as you look at the front of the sweater of left side as if you were wearing it? I can't seem to figure out if the short rows are to taper the back of the hood or the front along the trim line of I-cord. Any insight? Thank you

Yarn fiber

I live in florida where its hot, just about every day. I would like to knit something that i could wear when it's hot. Mostly all I can find in the store is acrylic. I would like some yarn that can breathe and keep you cool. Maybe cotton. I'm not sure.

Falling asleep

Hello everyone,

My name is stitches and this is the first time writing in a forum. I have been knitting now on and off for about 4 years. I've been noticing for the last 6 months, as soon as I touch the knitting needles I start to go into a deep zone, before I can even complete 3 stitches I can't keep my eyes open, I start to fall asleep. I wonder if anyone has or is going through the same experience? I use to knit at work on my lunch break, but had to stop, I started falling asleep. Now keep in mind I have no sleep disorders, I get plenty of rest and I have no kids. Please help!

Blocking Mittens?

Hi all,

I finished my Fiddlehead Mittens and haven't gotten around to blocking them until now.

The question is, how do I block mittens? I would like a homemade solution if possible as I am a penny pincher.

Thanks
