i have been weaving for 30 years, i am also a sometime knitter(mostly socks) i am currantly weaving teatowels and faceclothes out of bamboo yarn, a present from a friend. i really like this fibre and it washes well over and over. i joined because of the article in handwoven and would really like to win the cotton fibre, i only weave with natural fibres as i don't like the feel of synthetics. i live in rural B.C. and have very limited access to fibre(have to order most over the interenet.
Welcome! I have my first bamboo project on the loom now. Baby Blankets. Can't wait to get it off and washed to see how it does. I also have to do most of my fiber purchasing on line. Live in rural NC.
