What are some good online sources for glass beads  for all different weights of yarn. What size beads correspond to the different weights? I'm fairly new to knitting & can use a seasoned knitter's knowledge.

hi lynn b.

Pretty much you'll have to do a little reading, and/or ask questions when you are purchasing the beads.  Most shop personnel will be more than happy to help you with your questions.  Do a search for shops in your area and either visit or give them a call.  If you want a catalog in the mail, I would suggest going to Fire Mountain Gems (the link is below).  Check on the EncycloBEADia link for Charts, Ask the Experts & more.. They send you a nice catalog for FREE.  Also the Beads Baubles & Jewels site has video how to's plus lots of info.

And all the women who were wise of heart spun with their hands, and they kept bringing as yarn the blue thread and the wool dyed reddish purple, the coccus scarlet material and the fine linen.   Ex. 35:25

Best source for beads and detailed explanation of all bead types is.... www.beadwrangler.com... or www.7beads.com (same site)
