Hi, I'm new to forums; this being my first 1 I've ever joined, but have been knitting for approx 45 years. My Great-Aunt Eleanor had the patience of Job in getting me to sit still long enough to learn. I never have been some one to start small, my first project was knitting a Ripple Afghan for my Mom in the Eastern Star Colors to present to her 1st time being installed as Worthy Matron. It has now returned to me as my Wonderful Mom passed away a year ago.

Hi and welcome to Knitting Daily. It's wonderful to think of the generous people who taught us knitting and crochet. I'm so grateful to a neighbor for teaching me. How lovely that your mother was able to enjoy your afghan all this time.
