I'm starting the Quixote scarf from the Interweave 2011 magazine. I've never used a chart before- I think I'm following correctly- but has anyone finished this pattern? Any tips or suggestions for a newer knitter?
p.s. I have made a few cable swatches as practice.
Mmm, pretty scarf. If you've already made the cable swatches you should be good to go. The charts start at the bottom. Right side rows read right to left, wrong side rows read left to right, assuming that they're on the chart. Sometimes wrong side rows are left off the charts if they're just working the sts as they appear..
Thanks Salmonmac; the chart has both right and wrong sides since the prep rows for the cables start in the11th row. I 'll just keep knitting away- and I know how to frog if I have to.
