Anyhow, I wanted to share the pattern for the Cuppy Cake Hat I made for my neice,(I found it a couple years ago and can't find the orignal site to save my life, If you know who's pattern is orginally let me know so i can give them kudos and credit!) it turned out super cute! I'd say it's a Level 2 (level 1 being the most basic of knitters).I used Size 2 white and pink from Bernet's Baby collection and US Size 5 DPNs.CO 80 sts. (26-28-26) (I started with white)Work in 2x2 rib for 2 1/2 - 3 inchesChange colors.*K3, INC* for round, ending in 100 sts*K4, INC* for round, ending in 125 stsWork for desired length (I went 5in from CO edge)DECREASES :*K9, K2TOG.KNIT ROUND*K8, K2TOGKNIT ROUND*K7, K2TOGKNIT ROUND*K6, K2TOGKNIT ROUND*K5, K2TOGKNIT ROUND*K4, K2TOGKNIT ROUND*K3, K2TOGKNIT ROUND*K2, K2TOGKNIT ROUND*K1, K2TOG*K2TOGBreak yarn, draw though remaining sts and secure inside hat. Add pompom (I used embrodery thread in shades of pink and purple with bits of white) and enjoy this yummy Hat!!!!
