I have just joined in with all of you knitters. I work partime in a Yarn Shop in Shelton, Washington! I am very exposed to the sight and feel of yarn and hope this affliction lasts forever. I have been knitting since 1964, more self taught than not. I would love to hear from any knitters!

hi carol, enjoyed reading your post.  Is it a very nice yarn shop?  Am wondering how much time you spend knitting?

And all the women who were wise of heart spun with their hands, and they kept bringing as yarn the blue thread and the wool dyed reddish purple, the coccus scarlet material and the fine linen.   Ex. 35:25

I just joined today too, I wish I could work in a luverly yarn shop, maybe one day I'll have one of my own.Hmm  I also am self-taught sort of, my Mum taught me the basics then I delveloped my knitting skills from books mags and my own designs, so yeah I could say I'm exposed to yarn if my yarn stash is anything to go by.  Man its mega.Wink
