Hello Everyone,

I'm completely new to the knitting world.  I've been crotcheting for about 4 years now, which I self taught myself to do and caught on rather quickly.  So I thought that I would attempt to do the same with knitting as well, but it is a whole other story.  I'm just not getting it.  Not going so well yet, but hoping that by joining here and learning from everyone else.

There are many different kinds of instructions for learning available so you have to try each or use the one that suits your style of learning: books, videos, written tutorials onlline or those helpful people at the knitting shop. The library is a good resource and there are lots of videos here at Knitting Daily, on Youtube, and at Knitting Help. Keep at it, you'll get there!
