I have recently retaught myself the basic entrelac stitch. In the process I created a 20" square that I am turning into a throw pillow. I have the back almost complete and was thinking of ways to edge the pillow. I will be crocheting the 2 pieces together using single crochet. This will give me the base I need to do the edging. Now comes the question, how do you attach an I -Cord to the edge of a finished piece as you knit it? I remember seeing the technique demonstrated in an article in one of my magazines and I believe it was Interweave Knits. I have issues going back for the last 8 years and I don't remember which issue I saw it in, or if it even was in one of Interweave knits. If anyone out there has an idea of where I can find this, I would greatly appreciate it. When I get the pillow finished, I'll post a photo of it.
Thanks,
Mary
I think this technique might work in your situation:

There is a serie of videos where you can watch how to make an i-cord border:

Enjoy your Knitting!!!!!
Patience, persistence and love are the main ingredients for wonderful knittings.
I checked this one out and it was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! Now I can get the pillow finished.
To all who gave me the info I needed a very big thank-you!! Here is a picture of the finished pillow. I finished it last night.
Thanks, Mary.
Gorgeous! that pillow turned out beautifully.
Thank-you. It was a fun project and I will probably be making a couple more before I'm done. Both of my girls have done the whole, whine at mom for one. But it won't be till later that I make them one. Right now I am finishing some projects for myself.
