Dear friends,

From your experience, could you please recommend me some yarns (wools/cold weather yarns) that don't pill (or at least pill very little).

Have you worked with these yarns, and if you did, did they pill or not.

        - Plymouth Galway

        - Valley yarns valley superwash

        - The plucky knitter primo

        - Mostly merino 2 ply worsted (and by the way where can one buy this from?)

        - Rowan magpie

        - Cestari fine merino

        - Debbie Bliss rialto aran and DK

Or if you/ve worked with other yarns that didn't pill please share with me.

The project I am thinking about is a cardigan (swing, or a circle cardi), something with nice drape to it.

Thank you very much in advance,

HI there,

It's a little late answering but I just read comments from reviewers re the Galway Worsted 100% Wool that it is soft and easy to work with but that this yarn wants to felt.

I love the Plymouth DK Merino Superwash 100% Fine Merino Wool.  Easy to work with, doesn't split, great stitch def, really soft.  This yarn did not pill for me.

Put your cursor over these images and click to read - they won't look blurred as they do now.

And all the women who were wise of heart spun with their hands, and they kept bringing as yarn the blue thread and the wool dyed reddish purple, the coccus scarlet material and the fine linen.   Ex. 35:25
