On February 7, 2009, Knit Michigan, a 501 (c)3 organization, will hold it's third annual fiber marathon in Bloomfield Hills, MI. The goal this year is to raise $50,000 (and thousands of comfort items) to share among several cancer organizations. In 2008 the group raised $30K and over 2500 chemo caps and blankets.
