Hello, All, I have been knitting for many years, but have encountered a situation I just can't work out. Working in a lacey, spiral pattern of 13 rows, repeated four times, I don't understand how to "move the stitch marker one stitch to the left" at the end of the 13th row. It seems simple, but every way I try it, it appears not to work out correctly. Round 13 is "k2tog, yo, k6". Round 14 is "k to end". Round 15 (same as round 1) "k6, k2tog, yo, (repeat to end of round). If I it the stitch and then move the marker, the spiral doesn't seem to continue correctly. If I slip the stitch and then move the marker, I have to carry the year behind the stitch to continue, resulting in a slipped stitch look.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
