I am about to start knitting the sleeves for a jumper but am thrown by the next set of instructions.
Taking extra sts into pattern as they occur.
inc. 1 st at each end of next row, the 7 following 4th rows then the 4 following 6th rows - 50 sts.
It is the section in bold that has thrown me.
Can anyone explain it for me please?
Many thanks in advance.
These kind of instructions are ofteh confusing and I find it's easier to write them out row by row. Call the "next row", increase row 1. You increase on rows 5,9,13,17,21,25, and 29. Then increase on rows 35,41,47, and 53
Oh thank you. You make it sound so simple. If only they'd write the patterns simply.
