i am about to learn how to knit possibly next week, the lady whos teaching said to bring a 9 inch needle, any suggestions or anything please give me thanks
I recommend a bamboo or wooden needle. Steel and aluminum needles can be slippery when beginning to learn. Circular needles leave your knitting in your lap, instead of forcing your hands to hold everything. They also allow you to knit in a small place; ie airplane, bus, car. Get nice long ones 40-47" with flexible nylon cable. Enjoy your journey!
thank you i will get the wooden or bamboo ones for now and maybe later get the circular ones, i am looking forwrd to learning to knit, the lady having class said 9 inch needle so will get that , any other suggestions let me know , thank you so much
