does anyone have a beginner jumper/sweater that would be appropriate for me to attempt for a woman- preferably bat wing- my friend had one knitted for her and it was really easy apparently and i would like to give it a go

This one is fairly straightforward. It does have some shaping but you're going to find that in any batwing sweater. Read it over and see what you think.
