Last week (2/11/13-2/15/13), I saw a demo on Knitting Daily about casting on, using a second piece of yarn as a stabilizer, not sure, but whatever this technique, it prevented the edges from curling up as ribbing was begun. The main yarn being used was yellow/ochre in color and the yarn going through the cast on row was blue. I am new to this Knitting Daily arena, did not know to notice the # of the show but think it was somewhere in the 1000's. Can anyone help me, as this looks like a very useful technique to learn.
