hi alison,
well here is one lovely flax yarn. http://www.yarn.com/webs-knitting-crochet-yarns-louet/webs-knitting-yarns-louet-euroflax-sport/?utm_source=msn&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=F-M&utm_term=Louet-Euroflax
you should be able to get it by going to this site. http://www.louet.com/yarns/euroflax.shtml from the General Information bar on top takes you to the Retailer Information and Find a Store. Hopefully you can search from there. Hope that helps a little.
http://www.universalyarn.com/quality_color.php?quality=115 is another nice flax yarn. It's in u.s. but maybe they distribute overseas. surely there will be some local shops that sell flax yarn? http://www.wildfibres.co.uk/
And all the women who were wise of heart spun with their hands, and they kept bringing as yarn the blue thread and the wool dyed reddish purple, the coccus scarlet material and the fine linen. Ex. 35:25
Hi
If you search for linen yarn you should find more options - it is flax until it is made into yarn when it becomes linen.
Usually you will find that it is blended. You can of course spin your own if you have a spinning wheel - you can get flax fibre from Flaxland.
Best wishes
Ann
Thanks for your help
