Has everyone checked out the gallery of handwoven bags at the magazine site? Go to:

http://www.interweave.com/weave/handwoven_magazine/galleries/fall-2008-bag-gallery.asp

There are dozens of bags pictured in the slide show. Many are "just" plain weave, but such a range! A great way to jump start some inspiration.

This year's monthly project is scarves. Maybe we should all try to weave one... how about a challenge?

Thanks, JE.  I checked and they are all so different in that really interesting materials are used.  Who would ever guess, 'Caution' tape from Home Depot?  It's worth taking a few minutes to see these.

And all the women who were wise of heart spun with their hands, and they kept bringing as yarn the blue thread and the wool dyed reddish purple, the coccus scarlet material and the fine linen.   Ex. 35:25
