I have a sock pattern that I am using for a child.  I need to turn it from a heeled sock to a tube sock.  Does anyone know how to do this?

To turn a heeled sock into a tube sock, you'd just skip the heel shaping and go all the way to the toe. Make it several inches longer to make up for the extra fabric that will be lost in the instep. You'd probably want to keep any patterning quite near the top of the sock cuff, because you won't know exactly where it wil be underfoot. (But it would be so much more comfortable with a heel!)
