Hello everyone!!

I am a beginner knitter. I taught myself how to knit within the last couple weeks, and i'm loving it. I'm looking for a good baby blanket patter than will be easy to learn, but not boring. I was hoping I could use two different colors, but I'm not clear on the concept of using more than one color yet.. Does anyone know any cute baby blanket patterns that would be easy for a beginner?

Thank you very much in advance!

Welcome to the wonderful world of knitting! Here's a link to the trove of patterns on Pattern Central for baby blankets.

One of the easiest and nicest is the checkerboard pattern blanket:

If your not sure about changing colors yet, you could try a multi-color yarn with long sections of colors or a jacquard yarn that forms patterns on its own.

Ravlery also has lots of patterns for baby blankets and it's free to join. Good luck in your search!
