Okay, I am new to knitting daily and saw the Hope Top pattern and fell in love.  Have not knitted in a few years and this sounds like an easy pattern to get my feet wet again.  I did consider a Vogue knitting pattern, but could not read the instructions and this is more like the stuff I have read before.--Anyway that is my background.

My question is do I do 15 more pattern slip stitches after the increase (after 9 pattern slip stitches) or 15 total?  I am doing a large size.

Very pretty pattern:

You're working the yoke? Where are you exactly in the pattern? Is this the first or the second increase round or is it a round after that?

Second increase.   15th slip stitch total.

And now the second question is the best way to attach a second skein of this fine yarn.

After the increase round #2 and the following round, knit 15 rounds in the slipped stitch pattern. This is separate from the previous rounds you've knit in this pattern. After a repeat of rounds 1 and 2 the next step will be the divide for armholes so you can check to see that the yoke fits and is the length you want to the armholes. You can also check the measurement on the schematic at this point.

There are several methods for joining yarn here(about halfway down the page) and many more online.

Your knitting looks wonderful and the colors are lovely! Good luck finishing this very pretty top.
