I am new to knitting ... and have fallen in love with it!!  I also sew and crochet, but are self taught in both.  I would like to become a "skilled" knitter and to that end looking for an instructor in the Rhode Island area.  Anyone knowing of a great teacher please let me know.  I am interested in one on one instruction, but will be part of a class if taught by the right instructor.  Thanks!

I'm not in your area but do you have a local yarn store? Often they have classes or offer individual instruction. If not they may know of someone who teaches knitting. As you know from sewing the crochet, you can teach yourself a lot by working projects, picking ones with new challenges each time. Good luck!

can't recall what the sweater looks like, I'll have to wait until it airs on sunday to view it.  In the meantime, here is a direct link to her website and maybe you can email her and find out what pattern it is.
