What happened to Sandi?  Did anyone ever get an answer to why we have a different editor?

I have been thinking the same thing.  The decent thing to do would be to let us know where she went- is she OK?

Oh, you must have missed the first announcement of the change, which was published on July 1, where Sandi introduces Kathleen as the new editor:

A recap of that post, in which Sandi writes:

"... Starting today, I’m stepping aside as your editor and moving into a new role here—which means that we all get a new editor! We’re in good hands—"Oh, the places we'll go!" with Kathleen as our guide. This might seem like goodbye...but it's not! Remember I said I was moving into something new? So many of you have told me that you love the wee short tidbits next to my photo that I’m going to expand "What's on Sandi's Needles?" into a regular knitting blog. Every week, I'll be sharing my own knitting adventures with you right here on Knitting Daily, alongside other new knitting blogs that we’re adding to the site. I hope you'll stop by, leave a comment, and then go and explore all the other great things Knitting Daily has to offer—things that you helped to bring to life. Much gratitude and many blessings to all of you—and a warm welcome to Kathleen!"

Here's the permalink to the homepage for Sandi's blog. You can add it to your favorites or even subscribe to an RSS Feed. I know I'm really enjoying her new blog, and the other new blogs that have been introduced to the site too. http://www.knittingdaily.com/blogs/needles/default.aspx

I hope this helps!

Thank you so much for responding.  I did totally miss this!  I'm so glad she is OK.  Thanks again.

I will say that I sorely miss Sandi.  Knitting daily is like an interweave ad and I miss the snap and personality she brought .
