Hi Everyone! My name is Sue...I've been knitting for years and years and done some very advanced stuff (I'm "Smasty" on ravelry. I've always wanted to knit this, so I'm putting aside "The Gathered Pullover" to work this. I just ordered my yarn...Tahki Donegal in "Denim". I'm also new to KAL's...so this will be fun! Though I consider myself to be advanced, a sweater like this would normally take me about 10 months....so I will have to be a knitting fiend to get it done by end of Oct. I'm looking forward to seeing design changes that people want to incorporate. I definitely do not have a designer mentality, so I love seeing the tweaks that people like to do to make it their own. After seeing the additional pics in the pattern, I'm wondering about some waist shaping. Oh...for people who've never done cables....no problem at all! Once you do a few, you'll have it down easy.
