I feel sure that I saw a knitting pattern for a men's night cap. I thought I saw it in Piecework but I cannot find it in any of my copies. Did I dream about this? Has anyone else seen it and if so, where do I find it? I think it was in Piecework because it is an old time idea to wear a cap to bed.

Did you ever find the pattern you were looking for? Maybe it was one by Franklin Habit at Knitty.com (see the Fall 08 issue). It does look like it belongs in Piecework! It's really quite beautiful, and could work for a man or woman, I should think.
Franklin Habit translated a night cap pattern from Weldons (I believe). You can find it by googling "knit night cap pattern".
