I've lived most of my life in hot climates, Phoenix, Arizona and New Mexico. Guess that's why I like motifs so much. Get all the pieces stitched up then put them together later.
I absolutely am addicted to crochet! I taught myself a little over a year ago when I quit smoking. I was driving myself nuts. A friend of mine said her mom did crochet when she quit and it helped. So I have been doing it for a little over a year and have become quite good. (atleast I think so.) I make anything and everything from hats to little stuffies for the neighborhood kids. I can't get enough and hope to learn tons from sites just like this one.
