Hi!
I just looked at the pattern directions for the " Winding River Cowl" today. ( love the cowl, it is beautiful!)
I am completely stumped in the directions though, for rows 3-13: It says to work the stitches as they appear to the last 2 stitches, k2
I have no idea how to interpret these directions, I'm sorry ( I get the k2 part LOL). What do I do? Please clarify!
Sincerely,
Anya
Hi
It just means to knit the knit stitch and purl the purl stitches.
Sheila.
Thank you!
Thanks Sheila,
I made the winding river cowl. It is beautiful. that term means that you do k2p2 rib then end with a k2
Susan
I finished the cowl last night and I just love it!
The only problem is that I don't like the way the 3-needle cast-off looks. It interrupts the flow of the mobieus strip and gives the cowl a "back" and an "inside". I'm tempted to take it apart and try to use the Kitchener stitch to join it with a less noticeable seam. But I'm not very good at the Kitchener stitch and that is an awful lot of stitches... And is there even a way to do Kitchner stitch on ribbing? Has anyone else tried it?
