Linda Pratt of Westminster Fibers described Holmfirth as being in the Appennine Mountains!!  NO!  Holmfirth is in the Pennines a range of low rising mountains in Yorkshire, more usually described as uplands!

When I read this, I had a wonderful image of driving "Just over the Appenine Mountains", keep driving up through Italy, cross into France, drive across France, catch a ferry to England, keep motoring North and there it is - on the right.  You can't miss it!
