Hi, I'm Roger.  I live in Provo, UT, USA.  I learned to knit and crochet as a child.  I stopped as a teenager and didn't pick it up again until in my thirties.  I like to knit sweaters (jumpers), hats and socks.  So…chat mer up sometime; new friends are always a good thing.

Hi Roger

I'm Carolyn.  I used to live in Provo, back a few decades ago...how do you like it there?  I do remember those in-your-face, blocking-the-sunrise mountains!  Everywhere I've lived ever since...the mountains aren't high enough.  Geeked

I'm a mom of 4 and grandma of 3.  I learned to knit at age 11 from a lady at church, but didn't get really earnest about it until about 7-8 years ago.  Now I have several projects going at once and knit almost daily.

Have you joined ravelry.com?  It's still in beta stage so you have to sign up for an invite and then wait a bit...but it's sooooo worth it!  Like Knitting Daily, it's another great place to meet fellow knitters, as well as check out patterns, yarns and projects.

Hi Roger!  My aunt and uncle and their son lived in Ogden for years, so I've been to visit your state.  I love your quote!  I'm an avid sock knitter, am currently "whipping up" three hats for goodbye presents for my son's teachers (got to finish by 6/11), and have several sweater UFOs that I'm going to get to when all the obligatory projects are done.  There always seem to be more obligations appearing as I finish off the old ones...and I'm determined to work from stash rather than buying new yarn.
