Well I am sure this is a lovely pattern too, but I was hoping for the Lace Saddle Tee.  No mind though,

I've started the Tee with E. Lovold Silky wool, and I am loving it.  Maybe next time for the knit along.

Hi Linda,

I, like you, started one of the projects--the "Emily Shawl".  I have never done one and had yarn on hand and the right size needles so got the pattern and started right away.  It is working up nicely--learning new stuff!  Love that!

Would love to see your "Saddle Tee"--that one has interested me--saw it lately--maybe featured on a Knitting Daily newsletter?  What color yarn are you using?  Hope to see your finished "tee"!

I hope it's the Maple Street Cardi too!!!  In fact, I'm going to buy my yarn today for it!

Got my fingers crossed!!!!

Just beautiful.  Well, I am still knitting...I got the back done, and currently working on the right front.  Just don't have enough knittin time! But this is the first lace-like project I have worked on that actually looks like it is supposed to.  I used Cascade Verde Solstice, and it has a wonderful wave to it, and I got a color that actually looks like seaweed.  If I finish by summer, maybe I can sit on the beach camouflaged.  Enjoy the next KAL Everyone!

Has anyone seen the results of the spring KAL?  I paged through here, but wasn't sure if it would be here or on a new post.

Hi To All Who are Waiting for the Spring KAL,

Kathleen Cubley announced that it would be posted April 8, that is today.  She always puts it on a new post - forum to announce the KAL.  The first post will always be with specific information like the schedule, what she is using to knit with, the photo of the project, and where to buy the pattern.  Since this is Friday, I dont expect the new Spring KAL to be up before the end of her day.

Happy knitting, Zoe Smile

I was working on another project when this KAL started so I am also WAYYYYY behind.  I don't like dropping a project to start another...I am very much a "finish each project before starting another" type person.  The benefit of starting this KAL late is that I was able to learn from everyone else which has been extremely helpful.  Thank you to everyone who posted their problems and frustrations as you save me from going down those paths.

I am kniting the back and fronts as one piece and am about 12 inches along.  When I add the sleeves I will split the fronts from the back.  So far it seems to be going well.  I am using an all acrylic yarn since I am severly allergic to animal fiber, especially any wool.  The nice thing about using acrylic is lower cost and no blocking.  :-)

I enjoy taking my time knitting each of my projects as the knitting process is my relaxation.  So as you (Beehive of 8)...I am "Happily knitting along" as well.
