I am not adept at internet but thought I'd try to use it to enlist knitters in my 2011 goal to make and distribute one million mittens to those who need them.. I'm not looking to keep count ...just asking that anyone who wants to perform a simple act of kindness knit a pair ( or more) of mittens and give them to someone who needs them. My personal goal is to knit a mitten a day to give to local children's clinic and day care. I have faith in the knitting community and know that just by putting this suggestion out there the one million goal will be achieved.
