Is there any way to fix twisted stitches on circular needles..........without just ripping the whole thing out??

Just needed to ask, even though I feel that I already know the answer!!!!!!!!!!

You can fix the twisted stitches on the last row you knitted, but all the rows previous to that row would need to be ripped out (if you don't like the effect of twisted stitches). You could make it a design element and repeat the twisted stitches throughout the pattern--inventing a new stitch and becoming wildly famous (in the knitting world) in the meantime.

In my first twenty or so years as a knitter, I unwittingly twisted my stitches in the knit round and then untwisted them as I worked the purl round.

To undo it, you want to work the stitch so that it opens up and untwists--either through the front or the back of the stitch.

I'm not sure I understand the subtlety here, but here is my two cents worth.

Couldn't you pertend drop a stich there then knit it back like you would recover from a dropped stich?
