Hi:
Please can someone help me understand the last Dec Row (WS) for the Back Lower Rib Band.
Im makeing a size large. The pattern reads- P3,(p4, p2tog) 18(20, 22) times, p4 (2, 0) - 97 (105, 113)sts.
Now, I read this as Pearl 4, 20 times (note is this pearl 4 together 20 times)? Can't be. Then pearl 2. This is suppose to leave me with 105 stitches.
Before I start this last Dec Row (WS) I have 125 sts. How will this Dec Row work to where I will have 105 sts?
Please help
Thank you
Hi DDIkedi,
P3, (p4, p2tog) 20 times, p4 (2) gives you 105 stitches.
This reads for your size you are knitting as: purl 3. Then purl 4 and purl 2 together -- do these twenty times. Purl 2. This gives you 105 stitches.
You will be purling 2 together to make one stitch. You will do this 20 times. Not purling 4 together.
Just curious, since this is a knit-along where are the others who are also knitting this? And do you get any support from them? They must also be having some difficulties with this??? And where is the leader who has organized this knit-along???
Happy knitting, Zoe
