elephant trunk sweater

Some years ago my mother made a kids sweater with an elephant trunk on the front and tail on the back--does anyone know where the pattern came from and how to get another one??

I believe I am looking for the same pattern. Did you have any luck finding it? Years back my mother made this same one for my sister. Now I'd like my daughter to have one too. But can't seem to locate the pattern anywhere.

I have a pattern for the child's sweater that has a trunk sticking out of the face on the front of the sweater and the back of the sweater is the back of the elephant and has a tail hanging

The pattern is out of Family Circle magazine.  I have a copy of the pattern but no longer have the magazine.  It belonged to my mother who only kept the pattern.

Please e-mail me if I can be of more help.  I can see if the magazine date is on any of the pages.

Dana, thank you! That's the one! Wow thank you! we have searched every where for that pattern! Would you mind checking to see the date so I could maybe try to locate it? I absolutely love elephants and found this picture on a tumbler and love it, I think it is very creative and cute, what do you think? I especially love how the ear pops out, it adds something different and makes the elephant more life like. Does Anyone can suggest me.

Dear Dena R, Years ago I made that sweater for my youngest son and he loved wearing it.  Now we are getting ready for our first grandchild. I'd like to make it again but  I cannot find the pattern!  Do you still have it?  Would it be possible to email it to me?

I bet you'll find it in one of the forum sites or blogs on the internet... such Sites gives away free pattern.... Just search the net, you might get lucky on finding it. There's no hurt on trying....
