This is really fantastic! I've been so busy with knitting projects lately that I hadn't realized I'd stopped getting my Knit Daily messages. I guess I missed all this exciting stuff getting launched too. I look forward to chatting knit and crochet with everyone.
About me: I've been an avid fan of Interweave knits for almost as long as the magazine has been published. One of my ambitions is to have one of my patterns published in it. I've been knitting for about 32 years and consider this to be a reflection of how young I started rather than how old I am now!
I'm actually a gardening writer with a bunch of published titles though I get more excited about my part time job teaching at my LYS. I find it very gratifying when someone gets excited enough about something I designed to actually take the time to make one for themselves or for a loved one. I mostly design skirts though I also design socks, mittens, gloves, sweaters, scarves and ponchos. I'm hoping to get a website up this summer so I can share my enthusiasm with even more people.
