I want to knit this scarf and have been reading the instructions. I finally found the part of the pattern for casting on, it says to cast on and knit the edging stitch, which I found, then to do it 11 times. Is that eleven scallops? and then to pick up on the yo's. I am confused. I think maybe if I just start with the cast-on 6 stitches and do the first 30 rows I will get it but any help or advice would be appreciated.
