Hi there, I am a beginner knitter and i have knitted a scarf,dish cloth and i want to try something different. I want to learn how to knit socks, or baby boodies. does anyone have any suggestions for knitting either socks or boodies for a beginner. please help. thanks
Hi, I would recommend finding a pattern using two needles, google "free knitting pattern booties two needles" and you should come up with some results. Most socks are knitted on four or five needles and this can be very awkward for a relative beginner (or even a veteran like me, I've tried a few times and given up in disgust!)
Have you thought about a hat? Again, make sure the pattern is knitted on two needles, but there's tons of patterns out there. Good luck and happy knitting!
