I was dismayed at the comments on today's Knitting Daily. You imply that Lily Chin made a cable chart that looks (and is) easier to follow. I found examples of this method in Charted Knitting Designs by Barbara Walker (copyright 1972).
I would suggest that you check your facts before you imply that Ms Chin developed something brand new instead of [perhaps] updateing something already in existence.
