Boy, would I like advice! I'm in a hurry to knit a set of golf club head covers as a present for a valued friend. Each head cover would have blocks of white, red, and black. If the colors bleed onto the white, the covers will look like junk in just a few weeks. (I figure, head covers need periodic washing, and they get wet in rain anyway. )
It would be too slow and too expensive to buy several brands of yarn to test colorfastness.
Does anyone have good experiences with a brand that is washable and will hold its colors well? I would be happy to double or triple up on a thin yarn, if it gets me a good result.
Please help me!
