Your Daisy is a sweet little puppy! Good luck with her.
I voted for the little dress. I know you think the Party Dress is not practical. Using a washable yarn fixes that. I knitted it for my friend's little dog Babette, and she looks adorable in it. I used a washable wool/acrylic blend in pink. If you think it would 'drag' on your puppy, reduce the width. Since Babette is a little on the chubby side, it fit her almost like a sweater anyway. The off-the-charts "cute" factor of the dress makes it worth doing. And it is not hard at all to accomplish. Go for it!
I am now in the middle of making another one in a sparkly acrylic yarn for my standard poodle girl. :-)

Oh I love the fairisle one it will look stunning on her. She is gorgeous.
I think something quickly re-sizeable and quick to knit or crochet would be top on my list. If she is only 3 mo old, she is going to be growing a LOT over the next cold fall/winter months. Have fun with your new puppy. I seem to have adopted 2 young stray cats in the last month - oh who am I kidding "seem" ?
My favorite is the Fair Isle sweater. But you know, she'll really need at least 2 sweaters, in case one is in need of washing when she needs to go out, so perhaps you should make the classic Aran sweater, too.
Lovely puppy you have there. The Fair Isle is my favourite, but they are all very cute.
Wish you succes with the knitting.

The jean jacket is the one I prefer
Voted for the Cable BUT that Party dress is tooo adorable!
Congratulations on your new addition! She's a cutie! I'd pick the Aran sweater for now and wait to do the Fair Isle when she's full-grown. That way, she'll get the most wear out of it!
I voted for the Aran, but it's a hard choice between that and the Fair Isle. I agree with the earlier post that the Aran will knit up more quickly and that's important since it's nearly November (yikes!) then start the Fair Isle in a slightly larger size. Think how happy someone is going to be with her "hand me downs". I hope you'll be posting pictures of her in her sweaters and as she grows.
The Aran! I have a 3 month old JRT (with the same coloring as your puppy!) and her name is Daisy too! I just knit her a red sweater with cables and it looks great! I agree with the other ladies though, that the Fair Isle should be the next one, when she stops growing!
Definately the classic aran jumper. Very smart.
I like the party dress to but it might get in the way toileting
seeing she is a puppy and has short legs yet..
I vote for the Aran. It'll be warm with the cables, and quicker to finish than the Fair Isle, which would also be warm with double thickness yarn. Both my greyhounds (very skinny with very little hair) have Aran sweaters. Would it be possible to knit her sweater large enough to get her through the winter without needing to knit her a larger size? I dunno. Daisy's a great name, BTW. Congratulations, Mom!
The Fairisle, dog looks very "with it" in it.
I like the jeans jacket, BUT add some crocheted flowers to it. Make her a flower child.
The Fair Isle - in some girly colors. I was so surprised to see the title of your email in my inbox. Our pug Daisy just went to doggie heaven two weeks ago. She was sixteen and oh, so sweet. Hope you & your Daisy have as many happy years.
