I'm hoping someone out there can help me. I want to make a sock monkey head cover for my husband new golf club (driver) for Christmas. I keep looking at baby sock monkey hat patterns (patterns for human babies, HA!) and I was thinking I could just knit the bottom like a sock and the cap part, since it's small to begin with would fit over the head of the driver. What do you think of that idea? BUT, all the patterns seem to be crocheted and I want to knit it.
Any ideas, suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kay
