Hi,  i'm really stuck with deciding the best approach to knitting a nice snug fitting hoody top onto a jumper I am making.

Like the great article about bust darts, the hoody I have in mind follows the curves of the head and is snug fitting.  I can envisage one just like the best adventure gear.. this hoody doesn't fall off by itself or need to have a drawstring to hold it in place.

There's lots of patterns for socks and tops and all the standard shapes, but I haven't found much for hoodies.  The garment I am knitting is in 10 ply aran weight, but I could adapt an 8 ply to the task.

Any assistance or suggestions much appreciated!
