 I am very excited to get started on the Opulent Raglan, but am unsure what the abbreviation "K1 f&b" means.  Please help.  Thanks very much!  Ann G

 I am still fairly new to knitting, but I would say it means, knit one in the front and back of the stitch. As in make a stitch (increase by one). I had a pattern that said it in words not abreviations.

 Hello!  K1 f&b means to knit one stitch in front and back.  It is an increase stitch.
